Number of METU students who will receive Mevlana grant for the 2019-2020 Academic Year is determined by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK). METU ICO does not make the grant allocation.

Withdrawal: The students who would like to withdraw from the Mevlana program are required to inform ICO Advisor (yaltun@metu.edu.tr) until 14.06.2019 by filling and sending the attached document. There will be 10 points reduction from future Mevlana application points of the students who withdraw after this deadline. If the granted-students decide withdraw, those students who could not receive scholarship and have the highest overall score will be reported to YÖK as the reserved candidates for Mevlana scholarship.

 

Zero-Grant Participation: The students who would like to participate in the program without scholarship (but on a tution fee waiver) are required to inform ICO Advisor (yaltun@metu.edu.tr) until 14.06.2019. Those students who would like to participate in the program on zero-grant basis will be reported to YÖK. The participation status of zero-grant students will be determined by YÖK.

Erasmus+ İdari Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliği Başvuru Sonuçları ve Uygulama Esasları / 2018-2020 bütçe dönemi (AB Üyeleri ve Program Ülkeleri)

 

1.0. Asil ve Yedek Sonuç Listesi

Erasmus+ İdari Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliğinden faydalanmaya hak kazanan idari personel listesi bu linkte sunulmuştur.

Asil ve yedek sıralı listede hareketlilik hibesi kazanan personellerimiz, kendilerine e-mail ile iletilen başvuru numarasını kullanarak sonuçları kontrol edebilirler. Başvuru numarasını unutan/kaybeden personelimiz europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr adresi ile iletişime geçerek başvuru numarasını tekrar öğrenebilir. 

Listelerde kullanılan ODTÜ hizmet süreleri, 16.04.2019 tarihinde Personel Dairesi Başkanlığı’ndan edinilmiştir. Önceki program katılımları ve buna bağlı hesaplamalar yapılırken, adayların 31 Mayıs 2019 tarihine kadar gerçekleştirmiş/gerçekleştirecek oldukları hareketlilikler dikkate alınmıştır.

Asil adaylardan çekilen olması durumunda açılan kontenjan, yedek listedeki adaylara puan sırası baz alınarak kullandırılacaktır ve ilgili katılımcıyla Uluslararası İşbirliği Ofisi tarafından bilgi sağlanacaktır.  

2.0. Seçim Kriterleri

Yerleştirmelerinde kullanılan ve 3 Kasım 2016 tarihli ODTÜ Değişim Programları Komisyon toplantısında onaylanan kriterler Ofisimizin aşağıdaki web sayfasında ilan edilmiştir:

3.0. Seçilen Personelin İzlemesi Gereken Süreç

Başvuru sırasında gidilmesi planlanan kurumdan alınan resmi kabul mektubunu teslim etmemiş olan katılımcıların ilgili kurumdan imzalı ve mühürlü davet mektubunu edinmeleri ve europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr adresine göndermeleri gerekmektedir.

Gidilecek kurumun üniversite olması durumunda ilgili üniversite ile ODTÜ arasında anlaşma olmasına gerek bulunmamaktadır. Ancak üniversitenin Erasmus+ beyannamesi olması şartı aranmaktadır. Erasmus+ kapsamında beyanname almaya hak kazanan üniversitelerin listesine aşağıdaki linkten ulaşılabilir:

4.0. Erasmus+ İdari Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliği için Asgarî ve Azamî Süreler

İdari personel eğitim alma hareketliliği için faaliyet süresi seyahat hariç en az 2 iş günü, en fazla 5 gün olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu sebeple program süresinin 6 günü geçmemesi (5 gün faaliyet+1 gün seyahat) gerekmektedir. Personel eğitim alma hareketliliğinde, katılım sertifikasında yararlanıcının 2 günden az süre ile faaliyet gerçekleştirdiğinin görüldüğü durumlarda, faaliyet geçersiz kabul edilir ve yararlanıcıya herhangi bir hibe ödemesi yapılmaz, yapılan hibe ödemesi de geri alınır.

2017 Proje dönemi için Erasmus+ KA103 İdari Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliğinin gerçekleşebileceği resmi tarihler 15.05.2019-31.05.2020 olarak belirlenmiştir.

5.0. Akademik Yılı Erasmus+ İdari Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliğinde Kullanılacak Belgeler

Hareketlilik Öncesinde

 Karşı kurumdan alınmış resmi davet/kabul mektubunun UİO’ya teslim edilmesi

 Erasmus+ HE Staff Mobility agreement – training formunun doldurulması ve gerekli kurumlardan imza alınarak UİO’ya teslim edilmesi (katılımcıların eğitim alma faaliyetine ilişkin programlarını ilgili formun “activities to be carried out” kısmına, programın her gününe bir eğitim alma faaliyeti olacak şekilde detaylıca eklemeleri gerekmektedir)

 ODTÜ Vakıfbank şubesinde açılmış Euro hesabı bilgilerinin UİO’ya iletilmesi ve

Erasmus+ Personel Hareketliliği Hibe Sözleşmesinin UİO danışmanı ile birlikte doldurulması gerekmektedir.

Hareketlilik Sonrasında

Karşı kurum tarafından onaylanmış katılım sertifikasının orjinali ile

Uçak bileti ve/veya biniş kartlarının UİO’ya teslim edilmesi ve

UİO tarafından iletilecek olan çevrimiçi AB anketinin doldurularak UİO’ya bilgi verilmesi gerekmektedir.  

6.0. Erasmus+ Hibeler

6.1. Gidilen Ülkelere Göre Günlük Hibe Miktarları

Hareketlilikten faydalanacak idari personele verilecek olan gündelik miktarı gidilen ülke ile birlikte gidilen süreye göre aşağıdaki tabloda belirtilen tutarlar dikkate alınarak hesaplanır.

6.2. Mesafeye Göre Seyahat Desteği Tutarı

Personel hareketliliği faaliyetinden faydalanan personeline ödenecek seyahat gideri miktarı “Mesafe Hesaplayıcı” kullanılarak UİO danışmanı tarafından hesap edilir. Mesafe hesaplayıcısına aşağıdaki bağlantıdan ulaşılabilmektedir:

Mesafe hesaplayıcısı aracılığı ile personelin yerleşik olduğu yerden, faaliyet yerine kadar olan 2 nokta arasının km değeri tespit edilir ve aşağıdaki tablo kullanılarak seyahat hibesi hesaplanır. Mesafe hesaplayıcıda çıkan kilometrenin aşağıdaki tablodaki hibe karşılığı gidiş-dönüş rakamı olup, söz konusu miktar ikiyle çarpılmaz. Personelin aktarmalı olarak seyahat etmesi, yukarıda belirtilen mesafe hesaplaması ile varılan mesafeyi etkilemez.

7.0.  Hibesiz (“0” Hibeli) Personel Olma Durumu

Personel istediği ve kurum/birim yönetici onayı olduğu takdirde hibe almaksızın faaliyete katılabilir. Hibesiz personelin farkı, personelin bütçe hesaplamalarına dâhil edilmemesi ve kendisine hiçbir ödeme yapılmamasıdır. Hibe alınmaması personelin seçim sürecine dâhil olmamasına gerekçe değildir. Faaliyetten hibesiz faydalanılabilmesi için de başvuru yapılması ve başvurunun diğer başvurularla beraber değerlendirmeye tabi tutulması gerekmektedir.

8.0. Seçim Sonuçlarına İtiraz Süresi

Yukarıda belirtilen kriterlere göre yapılmış seçim sonuçlarına itirazı olan personelin ilan tarihinden itibaren 1 hafta içerisinde Uluslararası İşbirliği Ofisi’ne yazılı olarak başvuru yaparak itirazını dile getirmesi gerekmektedir. Yapılacak itirazlar Üniversite Değişim Programları Komisyonu tarafından değerlendirilecektir.

  Erasmus Staj programından hibe almak üzere seçilmiş olan öğrencilerin detaylı listesine aşağıdaki bağlantıdan ulaşılabilir: 

2018-2019  Erasmus Staj Programı Yerleştirme Listesi

Üniversitemize tahsis edilen Erasmus+ KA103 Staj Programı 2018-2020 bütçesi kapsamında geçerli başvuruda bulunan öğrencilerimiz hibeli ve yedek olarak ilan edilmiştir. Bütçe kısıtı nedeniyle, 3 aydan fazla kabul mektubu almış öğrencilerimize en fazla 3 aylık hibe tahsis edilmiştir. 3 aydan daha az kabul almış öğrencilerimiz, kabul mektuplarında belirtilen gün sayısı kadar hibelendirilecektir. Hibeli öğrencilerden çekilme olması durumunda, sırayla yedek listeden öğrenciler hibelendirilecektir.

Yerleştirme sonuçlarına itiraz etmek isteyen öğrenciler 29 Mart 2019 tarihine kadar Uluslararası İşbirliği Ofisi'ne bir dilekçe yazarak başvurabilirler. Dilekçede belirtilen e-posta iletişim adresine UIO tarafından 05.04.2019 tarihine kadar geri dönüş yapılacaktır.

Erasmus Staj Faaliyeti ile ilgili süreçler ile ilgili aşağıda belirtilen tarihlerde Kütüphane Binası Solmaz İzdemir Salonunda bilgilendirme toplantıları yapılacaktır.

 

 Staj faaliyetinin en geç 31 Mayıs 2020 tarihine kadar gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir.

Yerleştirme Kriterleri

 Başvuran öğrencilerin toplam (overall) puanı aşağıdaki şekilde hesaplanmıştır:

Erasmus+ yerleştirmeleri %50 CGPA ve %50 DPİYS dikkate alınarak yapılmaktadır.

Ancak öğrencinin ağırlıklı not ortalaması belirlenirken, kümülatif not ortalaması (CGPA), kendi bölümündeki ve dönemindeki diğer öğrencilerin kümülatif not ortalamasına oranlanır.

Örnek: 

Öğrenci CGPA: 3.15

İlgili bölümün ve dönemin öğrencilerinin CPGA: 2.89

Oran: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09

25*+1.09=26.09

Erasmus başvuru puanı: 3.15x26.09 = 82.18 olarak belirlenir.

*%50 ortalama almak için kullanılan not dönüştürme katsayısı=25

-Türkiye Ulusal Ajansı’nın belirlediği program kuralları gereği,

• daha önce aynı öğrenim seviyesinde Erasmus programından (öğrenim, ICM ve/veya staj) yararlandığını beyan etmiş olan öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarından her bir katılım için 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır
• 2018-2019 Akademik yılında Erasmus+ Öğrenim, Erasmus Staj ve Erasmus ICM programlarına  yerleştirilen, ancak mücbir bir sebebe dayanmaksızın kendilerine verilmiş olan süre dışında programdan çekilen öğrencilerden 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır
• 2019-2020 akademik yılı Erasmus+ ICM programına seçilen öğrencilerden 10 puan kesintisi yapılmıştır
• 2019-2020 Akademik Yılı için Erasmus programına da başvuru yapmış ve önceliğini Erasmus Öğrenim programına vermiş olan öğrencilerden 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır.

• 2828 sayılı Sosyal Hizmetler Kanunu kapsamında hakkında koruma kararı olan öğrencilere 10 puan eklenmiştir
• Engelli belgesini başvuru sistemine yükleyen öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarına 10 puan eklenmiştir
• Şehit ve Gazi çocuğu olduğu belgesini başvuru sistemine yükleyen öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarına 15 puan eklenmiştir

Yerleştirme Sonrası Süreç:

Öğrencilerin ilk aşamada yapması gereken işlemler  Giden Öğrenci Bilgi Notu’nda anlatılmıştır. Gerekli belgelere https://ico.metu.edu.tr/useful-documents-1 adresinden ulaşılabilir.

Yerleştirilen her öğrencinin Uluslararası İşbirliği Ofisi'nde(UİO) bir danışmanı olacaktır. Danışmanların adları ve iletişim bilgileri de yukarıdaki listede yer almaktadır. 

Erasmus Staj programına katılmaktan vazgeçmiş olan öğrencilerin kararlarını en geç 30 Nisan 2019’a kadar ofis danışmanlarına bildirmeleri son derece önemlidir. Bu tarihten sonra mücbir sebep dışında bir gerekçe ile programa katılmaktan vazgeçen öğrencilerin sonraki yıllarda aynı öğrenim seviyesi için yaptıkları Erasmus başvurularında toplam puanları 10 puan düşürülecektir.

Önemli Hatırlatma:

Erasmus Staj Programı dönüşünde, faaliyetin ODTÜ’de ders olarak saydırılması gerekmektedir. Zorunlu Stajı olan bölüm öğrencileri, zorunlu staj dersleri yerine saydırabilirler; zorunlu stajı olmayan bölümlerin öğrencileri ve lisansüstü öğrenciler tüm bölümler için açılmış olan “International Student Practice” veya “International Graduate Student Practice” dersleri yerine saydırma yapabilirler.

Dear Prospective Erasmus Traineeship Students,

Selection results for the Erasmus Traineeship programme for 2018-2020 -Budget Year can be found below: 

2018-2019 Erasmus Traineeship Selection List

Under  2018-2020 budget, students  who had a valid application were placed as  “granted list” and “waiting list”. Due to the budget limitations, the students who had an acceptance letter more than 3 months will be granted for a maximum 3-months scholarship. Other students whose acceptance letters are less than 3-months will be granted based on the dates on the letters. If the students in the main list withdraw from the program, scholarship will be allocated to the one in the reserve list.

If you would like to object to selection results, you should submit a written petition to International Cooperations Office until March 29, 2019. ICO will respond to the petition until April 05, 2019 thorugh the e-mail address indicated in the petition. 

Information sessions concerning Erasmus Traineeship program will be organized at Solmaz İzdemir Hall, Library Building. The details are as follows;

 

The traineeship activity, which lasts at least two months, can be carried out until May 31, 2020.

Selection Criteria:

Overall scores were calculated as follows: 

According to the regulations of the Turkish National Agency, 50% of CGPA and 50% of the EPEEP are taken into account in selecting prospective Erasmus students. Besides, before calculating the 50% of the CGPA, a coefficient is applied on the CGPA according to the applicants' department and semester information as below:

Student CGPA: 3.15

CGPA of the related department's students in the same semester with the applicant: 2.89

Ratio: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09

25*+1.09=26.09

Overall Erasmus application score: 3.15x26.09 = 82.18

*the convergent factor to calculate 50% of the CGPA = 25

 

• 10 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students for each participation of the Erasmus KA103 student mobility/ Erasmus Traineeship and Erasmus KA107 in the same study cycle.
• 10 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they withdraw from 2018/2019 Erasmus program (study or internship programs with European or non-European countries ) after the announced deadlines.
• 10 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students who have been selected for Erasmus KA107 for 2019-2020 academic year.
• The students who apply for both Erasmus student and traineeship mobility will be expected to give priority to one of their choices. The preference was indicated during the online application. 10 points will be decreased from the choice that is not prioritized. 

 

• 15 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are  the childrens of martyries and veterans. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.
• 10 points will be added to the overall score of students with disabilities. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.
• 10 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are who have been under protection by 2828  Social Services Law. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

Procedures After Selection:

What is expected from the students on the first phase is explained in  Traineeship Outgoing Information Document. 

Each student will have an advisor in International Cooperations Office (ICO). The contact information of the advisors can be found in the list above. 

Students who would like to withdraw from the Erasmus Traineeship programme should also inform their ICO advisors of their withdrawal decision latest by April 30, 2019. Please bear in mind that students who withdraw from the programme after 30 April 2019, except for the force-majeure cases, will lose 10 points in their future Erasmus applications at the same study cycle (academic level).

Important Notice:

1)  It is compulsory to make traineeship activity be recognized at METU after return. The students with compulsory traineeship course in their curriculum may transfer their traineeship activity to that course. For other students who do not have compulsory traineeship course in their curriculum or graduate students may use “International Student Practice” or “International Graduate Student Practice” courses for recognition.

2019-2020 akademik yılında Erasmus öğrenci değişim programından yararlanmak üzere seçilmiş olan öğrencilerin listesine (Liste1)  ve başvuran tüm öğrencilerin yerleştirme detaylarına (Liste2) aşağıdaki bağlantıdan ulaşılabilir:

Liste 2 aşağıdaki şekilde incelenmelidir:

Yeşil renk: Öğrencilerin tercih etmiş olduğu üniversiteleri belirtmektedir.

Mavi Renk: Öğrencilerin yerleştirilmiş oldukları tercihleri belirtmektedir.

Kırmızı Renk: Bölümlerin onay vermediği üniversite tercihlerini belirtmektedir.

Siyah Renk: 02 Mart 2019’da yapılan Değişim Programları İngilizce Yeterlik Sınavı’na girmediği için başvurusu iptal edilen öğrencilerin tercihlerini belirtmektedir.

***Ulusal Ajansın kurumumuza vereceği toplam hibe miktarı Ağustos ayı içerisinde belli olacaktır. Bu sebeple kaç öğrencimizin hibe almaya hak kazanacağı Ulusal Ajans’tan Öğrenim Hareketliliği için üniversitemize tahsis edilecek toplam hibe miktarına bağlı olarak Ağustos ayında belirlenecektir.

Hibe alabilecek öğrenci sayısı belirlendikten sonra, öğrenciler “overall” puanlarına göre “hibeli asil liste” ve “hibesiz yedek liste” olmak üzere belirlenecektir. “Hibeli asil listeden” çekilen öğrenciler oldukça; hibe yine overall puan sırasına göre “hibesiz yedek listedeki” öğrencilere tahsis edilecektir.

Yukarıdaki listede öğrencilerimizin Erasmus’a katılmak üzere seçtikleri dönemler belirtilmiştir.  UIO danışmanları, öğrencilerin isimlerini karşı üniversitelere bu dönem tercihlerine göre bildireceklerdir.

Yerleştirme Kriterleri

Yerleştirme, başvuran öğrencilerin dönemi, bölümü, toplam puanı, anlaşma kontenjanları ve bölümlerin akademik değerlendirmeleri dikkate alınarak yapılmıştır. Başvuran öğrencilerin toplam (overall) puanı aşağıdaki şekilde hesaplanmıştır: 

Erasmus+ yerleştirmeleri %50 CGPA ve %50 DPİYS dikkate alınarak yapılmaktadır.

Ancak öğrencinin ağırlıklı not ortalaması belirlenirken, kümülatif not ortalaması (CGPA), kendi bölümündeki ve dönemindeki diğer öğrencilerin kümülatif not ortalamasına oranlanır. Örnek:

Öğrencinin Erasmus İngilizce Yeterlik Sınavı: 80 Öğrencinin not ortalaması: 3.15 İlgili bölümün ve dönemin öğrencilerinin CPGA: 2.89 Oran: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09 25*+1.09=26.09 Erasmus başvurusu icin kullanılacak puan : 3.15x26.09 = 82.18 olarak belirlenir. Overall Puan= ( 82.18*0.5) + ( 80*0.5)=  81.09 *%50 ortalama almak için kullanılan not dönüştürme katsayısı=25

Ayrica, Turkiye Ulusal Ajansi'nin belirledigi program kurallari geregi;

• Daha önce aynı öğrenim seviyesinde Erasmus programından (öğrenim, ICM ve/veya staj) yararlandığını beyan etmiş olan öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarından her bir katılım için 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır
• 2018-2019 Akademik yılında Erasmus+ Öğrenim, Erasmus Staj ve Erasmus ICM programlarına  yerleştirilen, ancak mücbir bir sebebe dayanmaksızın kendilerine verilmiş olan süre içerisinde programdan çekilmeyen öğrencilerden 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır
• 2019-2020 akademik yılı Erasmus+ ICM programına seçilen öğrencilerden 10 puan kesintisi yapılmıştır
• 2019-2020 Akademik Yılı için Erasmus programına da başvuru yapmış ve önceliğini Erasmus Öğrenim programına vermiş olan öğrencilerden 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır

Öğrencilerin ilk aşamada yapması gereken işlemler bu dökümanda ve 2019-2020  Giden Öğrenci Bilgi Notu’nda anlatılmıştır.

Aşağıdaki çizelgede danışmanlarınız tarafından Kütüphane, Solmaz İzdemir Salonu'nda yapılacak olan ve sonbahar döneminde gidecek olan öğrencilerimiz için bilgilendirme toplantılarının tarihleri yer almaktadır, bu toplantılarda danışmanlarınızdan bütün süreçle ilgili ayrıntılı bilgi alabilirsiniz. Bahar dönemini tercih eden olan öğrencilerimiz  için Eylül ayında ayrıca toplantı yapılacaktır. Bu öğrencilerimizin belirtilen toplantılara şu anda katılmalarına gerek bulunmamaktadır.

Yerleştirilen her öğrencinin UİO'da bir danışmanı olacaktır. Danışmanların adları ve iletişim bilgileri de yukarıdaki listede yer almaktadır. Danışmalarınıza ofiste birebir soru sormanız mümkün olamayacağından aşağıdaki toplantılara katılımınız zorunludur.  Öğrencilerimiz kendi danışmanlarının toplantılarına katılamayacak olsalar bile, diğer danışmanların toplantılarına katılabilirler.

 DANIŞMAN TOPLANTILARI GÜN VE SAATLERİ

Erasmus programına katılmaktan vazgeçmiş olan öğrencilerin kararlarını en geç 30 Nisan 2019’a kadar ofis danışmanlarına bildirmeleri son derece önemlidir. Bu tarihten sonra mücbir sebep dışında bir gerekçe ile programa katılmaktan vazgeçen öğrencilerin sonraki yıllarda aynı öğrenim seviyesi için yaptıkları Erasmus başvurularında toplam puanları 10 puan düşürülecektir.

2019-2020 akademik yılı için ikinci bir Erasmus yerleştirmesi yapılmayacaktır. Erasmus öğrenim programı sonuçları açıklandıktan sonra öğrencilerin yerleştikleri üniversitelerde değişiklik yapılması mümkün değildir.

Önemli Hatırlatma:

1) Erasmus Değişim Programı öncesi (Learning Agreement (LA) Before the Mobility) en az 30 ECTS almak zorunludur. Erasmus Değişim Programı sonunda, başlangıçta alınmış olan 30 ECTS’den az 20 ECTS krediden başarılı olmayan öğrencilerin toplam hibelerinin %20’si ödenmez.

2) Erasmus Değişim Programı dönüşünde karşı üniversitede alınan derslerden başarılı olunan derslerin ODTÜ’de saydırılması zorunludur.

 3) Sonbahar dönemi öğrencileri için Mayıs ayında düzenlenecek ve Bahar Dönemi öğrencileri için Kasım ayında düzenlenecek olan Giden Öğrenci Oryantasyonu’na katılım hibeli-hibesiz tüm öğrenciler için zorunludur.

4) Yerleştirilmiş olduğunuz üniversitenin başvurusuna ilişkin ders seçimi, eğitim dili, ECTS kredileri gibi detayları ilgili üniversitelerin web sayfalarından kontrol ediniz. Yerleştirildiğiniz üniversite ile anlaşmamız olması; bu üniversitenin eğitim dilinin İngilizce olduğu anlamına gelmemektedir.

The details of List 2 is given below:

Green: Indicates students’ choices.

Blue: Indicates students’ placements.

Red: Indicates the choices that are not approved by the department.

Black: Indicates the choices of the students who did not participate the EPEEP.

Turkish National Agency will announce the budget allocated to our university in August time period. Therefore, whether you will be able to get Erasmus grant will be determined after August depending on our total budget allocated by Turkish National Agency. You can find the last four year’s students’ who were granted.

If you would like to object to the selection results, you should submit a written petition to International Cooperations Office until March 29, 20198.  ICO will respond to the petition until April 05, 2019 through the e-mail address indicated in the petition.

 After the number of students with grant is decided based on overall grades, two lists will be announced namely, “main list students with grant” or “waiting list students without grant”. When students from the “main list” withdraw from the program, the grant will be given the students on the “waiting list” based on their overall grades.

In the list above, the semester preferences of the students are also published. International Cooperations Office (ICO) advisors will nominate the students according to these preferences.

Selection Criteria:

Students’ department, overall grade and agreement quotas and agreement specifications (Agreement details) as well as academic assessment of the departments have been taken into consideration during the selection process. Overall scores were calculated as follows: 

According to the regulations of the Turkish National Agency, 50% of CGPA and 50% of the English language test score are taken into account in electing prospective Erasmus students. Besides, before calculating the 50% of the CGPA, a coefficient is applied on the CGPA according to the applicants' department and semester information as below:

Student English Proficency Score: 80 Student CGPA: 3.15 CGPA of the related department's students in the same semester with the applicant: 2.89 Ratio: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09 25*+1.09=26.09 Erasmus application score: 3.15x26.09 = 82.18 Overall Score of the Student: ( 82.18*0.5) + ( 80*0.5)=  81.09

*the convergent factor to calculate 50% of the CGPA = 25

• 10 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students for each participation of the Erasmus KA103student mobility/ Erasmus Traineeship and Erasmus KA107 in the same study cycle.
• 10 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they withdraw from 2018/2019 Erasmus program (study or internship programs with European or non-European countries ) after the announced deadlines.
• 10 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students who have been selected for Erasmus KA107 for 2019-2020 academic year.
• The students who apply for both Erasmus student and traineeship mobility will be expected to give priority to one of their choices. The preference was indicated during the online application. 10 points will be decreased from the choice that is not prioritized.

• 15 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are  the childrens of martyries and veterans. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.
• 10 points will be added to the overall score of students with disabilities. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.
• 10 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are who have been under protection by 2828  Social Services Law. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

Procedures After Selection:

 These procedures are valid for both students with and without grant!!!

What is expected from the students on the first phase are explained in Giden Öğrenci Bilgi Notu.

You may find the time schedule for info sessions of the ICO advisors, you will be able to get detailed information for all Erasmus process from your advisors in these meetings.

Each student will have an advisor in ICO. The contact information of the advisors can be found in the list above. As it will not be possible to ask individual questions to your advisor, it is compulsory to attend these meetings.

An information sessions concerning Erasmus Student Mobility program will be organized at Solmaz İzdemir Hall, Library Building. The details are as follows;

 

In case, you have a class on the date of your advisor’s info session, you can also attend other advisors’ sessions.

Students who would like to withdraw from the Erasmus programme should also inform their ICO advisors of their withdrawal decision latest by April 30, 2019. Please bear in mind that students who withdraw from the programme after April 30, except for the force-majeure cases, will lose 10 points in their future Erasmus applications at the same study cycle (academic level).

There will not be a second round for Erasmus placement for 2019-2020 academic year and it is not possible to change the university you are placed.

Important Notice:

1) Before Erasmus programme (Learning Agreement Before (LA) Before the Mobility) you are expected to take 30 ECTS courses . After the program, if the students cannot be successful from at least 20 ECTS credits out of 30, 20% of their grant will not be paid.

2) The courses completed successfully in the host university must be recognized in METU after return.

3) There will be Erasmus Outgoing Student Orientation in May for Fall semester students and in December for Spring semester students.

4)Please check the websites of the universities you have been placed. Having a bilateral agreement between METU and host university doesn’t necessarily guarantee that you will be able to find courses offered in English. So, you are responsible for checking the deadlines, offered courses, ECTS credits in advance.

Students who have been placed to a university are required to contact with International Cooperations Office (ICO) until 19 March 2019, Yasin Altun (icm@metu.edu.tr), and indicate their semester preference (Fall or Spring).

 

In addition, students who decide to withdraw from the program are required to contact ICO until 19 March 2019. Students who withdraw from the program without a force major reason after 19 March 2019 will lose 10 points in their future Mevlana applications at the same study cycle (academic level).

 

Selected students will be able to get detailed information for Mevlana process in their advisor meeting which will be organized on 21 March 2019, Thursday (12:00-13:30) at Solmaz İzdemir Hall (Library Building).  As it will not be possible for advisors to explain the whole process to each student individually, it is compulsory to attend this meeting.

 

 

Selection Criteria:

CGPA and English Proficiency Exam score are taken into account in electing prospective Mevlana Program students. According to program regulations, 50% of CGPA and 50% of the English language test score are taken into account in electing prospective Mevlana students. Weighted CGPA is calculated for each applicant depending on the average CGPA in his/her departmental cohort.

 

Besides, before calculating the 50% of the CGPA, a coefficient is applied on the CGPA according to the applicants' department and semester information as the example below shows:

 

Student CGPA: 3.15

CGPA of the related department's students in the same semester with the applicant: 2.89

Ratio: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09

25*+1.09=26.09

Overall Mevlana application score: 3.15x26.09 = 82.18

In addition:

• Applicants with disabilities (approved by medical report) get 10 additional points. Medical reports concerning their disability must be submitted to International Cooperations Office before the application deadline.
• 10 points are deduced from the overall grade of the students who have benefited from the Mevlana Program before within the same study level. Previous participation in the program in different study levels does not cause any deduction in the overall grade.
• 10 points are deduced from the overall grade of the students who have withdrawn from the program after the announced deadline for the previous Mevlana Program Applications.
• 10 points are added to the overall score of the students who have been under protection by 2828 Social Services Law. The proving documents must be submitted to International Cooperations Office before the application deadline.
• 15 points are added to the overall score of the students who are the relatives of martyries and veterans. The proving documents must be submitted to International Cooperations Office before the application deadline.

 

 

Partner Universities:

 

Students who are already placed in one of the available partner universities are not allowed to switch their placements. Students were supposed to make their University preferences by checking the availability of their academic departments at the partner university as well as some other criteria such as language requirements and so on.

 

After the announcement of results, selected candidates will apply for the partner universities with the guidance of the ICO advisor. Please note that partner universities may have additional requirements (like minimum CGPA, language document etc.). Partner universities reserve the right to deny the application of the nominees that do not meet their requirements. Therefore, placement by METU does not guarantee your acceptance from the partner university due to their CGPA, language, department, etc. restrictions. During the application, an internationally recognized language proficiency exam grade was not required by International Cooperations Office. However, partner universities may require a language proficiency exam grade document for their language of education (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)

 

Mevlana Scholarship:

 

Number of METU students who can receive Mevlana grant for the 2019-2020 Academic Year will be determined by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK). METU ICO does not make the grant allocation. METU ICO will report the list of candidates to YÖK for the selection of grantees. Students will be granted by YÖK according to their rankings and some students may not receive Mevlana grant.

 

When the scholarship status (whether the student is granted scholarship or not) are announced by YÖK, all students who have been placed (with or without scholarships) will be contacted by METU ICO. The announcement is expected to be made in the summer term, according to the schedule of YÖK.
