Welcome to International Cooperations Office

Founded in 1992, International Cooperations Office (ICO) coordinates METU's international mobility programs such as Erasmus, Overseas Exchange and International Summer School. In particular, student mobility and internship programs as well as staff exchange programs are organized. ICO is also responsible for initiating and implementing collaborative agreements, METU's incoming exchange student flow and organizing programs for international delegations visiting METU at the university administration level.

  • ERASMUS+ TRAINEESHIP PROGRAM APPLICATIONS

     Application to the Erasmus+ Traineeship program for 2014-2015 Academic Year will be accepted between May 1 and May 21, 2014.

  • University of Wyoming Information Session

    One of METU's Erasmus partners in the USA, Wyoming University delegation will give an information session on April 14, 2014 Monday at Cultural and Convention Center Hall C between 15:00-16:00. This session will be helpful for METU students who consider applying to Wyoming University as an Exchange and/or Mevlana student as well as for those who would like to pursue their MS or PhD degrees at this university.

  • “GO STYRIA” Grants

    Grants for students from South-Eastern Europe are available by the Province of Styria in cooperation with the University of Graz – “GO STYRIA” which focuses on incoming research mobility for Master and Doctoral students as well as Post-Docs. In the winter semester 2014/2015 a total of 50 scholarship months can be awarded.

    Koc University is glad to announce the upcoming Peacemakers Conference on How to Overcome Prejudices with Dignity - June 2014. The topic for this third edition will be “Immigration: The Dutch and the Turkish Youth”.  We both aim to analyze the sources of these conflicts & prejudices and also work on the ways to overcome these prejudices.
