Welcome to International Cooperations Office

Founded in 1992, International Cooperations Office (ICO) coordinates METU's international mobility programs such as Erasmus, Overseas Exchange and International Summer School. In particular, student mobility and internship programs as well as staff exchange programs are organized. ICO is also responsible for initiating and implementing collaborative agreements, METU's incoming exchange student flow and organizing programs for international delegations visiting METU at the university administration level.

  • Overseas Exchange Outgoing Student Applications for 2018-2019 Academic Year (Non-European Countries)

    Please note that this application is NOT for Erasmus+ with/without European Countries. Overseas Exchange is a non-granted program conducted within the framework of bilateral agreements among the universities and it is different from Erasmus+ Programs.

     

     

    APPLICATION CRITERIA

     

    Students can apply for Overseas Exchange Program only if:

     

    - CGPA is at least 2.50 as of the application deadline (undergraduate level)

  • University of Tokyo Engineering Summer Education Program (ESEP)
    The School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo will be holding its 2018 Summer Program, 
    called ESEP (Engineering Summer Education Program) from June 25 to August 10, 2018.
    This program offers  international undergraduate and graduate students a short-term 
    research experience in the basic and translational sciences.
    
    An outline of the program is as below.
    
    1. Schedules
      3-6 weeks between June 25, 2018 and August 10, 2018.
    (program start date and duration vary depending on laboratory.)
