**There will be an information meeting on April 24, 2024 (Wednesday) between 14.00-16.00 at KKM G Hall. In the meeting, information about the program will be given and the steps to be followed before mobility will be explained. Participation is compulsory.

 

If you would like to object to selection results, you should email a scanned petition to International Cooperations Office (nurtemur@metu.edu.tr) until 19 April, 2024. ICO will respond to the petition until 30 April, 2024 through the e-mail address indicated in the petition.

 

Selection Criteria

- According to the rules of the National Agency, the placement scores of the candidates in this program will be based on 50% CGPA and 50% English Language score.

-  15 points added to the overall score of the students who are the children of martyries and veterans. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

-  10 points added to the overall score of students with disabilities. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

-  10 points added to the overall score of the students who are who have been under protection by 2828 Social Services Law. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

- 10 points added to the overall score of the students who themselves or their first-degree relatives receive aid from AFAD. The proving documents (the document which shows the AFAD aid could be downloaded from e-devlet system) must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

 

- 5 points added to the overall score of the students who will do a traineeship activity that’s in scope of Digital Opportunity Traineeships (cybersecurity, big data, digital marketing, software development, social media management etc.). You can select this option during your online application and your acceptance letters will be examined by ICO to confirm that your traineeship is in this scope in content. The letters should clearly mention that the traineeship will be within the scope of a Digital Opportunity Traineeship to receive this extra point.

-10 points deduced from the overall grade of the students who have benefited from Short-Term Doctoral Erasmus applications. Even though the participants do not conduct their mobility yet; 10 points will be deducted because of being selected and granted before.

 -10 point deduced from the overall grade of those international students who apply for the countries that they have their citizenships.

 **To get these additional points, applicants have to submit their official proofs by 5.04.2024 to online application from e-Devlet. It is the applicants’s own responsibility to provide valid and reliable proofs.

 

Required Procedures for Awarded Applicants:

The list of documents that you need to prepare before your mobility will be send to your email by your ICO advisor. You can also find the list of documents from the link.

Participants who would like to withdraw from the program should inform ICO until 30.06.2024.  For those participants who inform ICO after the deadline, there will be 10-point deduction for their future application’s overall score.

10 points will be decreased from the granted participants for their next Erasmus applications (with European countries). Even though the participants do not conduct their mobility yet; 10 points will be decreased because of being selected and granted in this call.

 4. Duration of the Activities

Duration of the Activity

METU Rules:

In order to provide mobility opportunities for a higher number of students and because of the budget limitations at METU, candidates to be selected for this type of mobility within the scope of the existing Erasmus+ KA131 budget opportunities will be granted for a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 14 days.

Program Rules:

Within the scope of the program, internship mobility can be carried out between a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 30 days

5. Erasmus+ Grants

An individual support grant can be awarded for one travel day before the activity and one travel day following the activity.

 

Within the scope of Short-Term Doctoral Mobility, the following amounts of Additional Grant Support can be provided to participants with fewer opportunities.

6. Erasmus Mobility without Grant (Zero-Grant)

It is possible to participate in Erasmus mobility programme without grant. Those participants who would like to participate in the programme without grant need to make application and their applications need to be evaluated as the others. Those participants with zero grant have to fulfill rights and obligations of the program.

7. Additional grants for disabled participants

For disabled participants, it is possible to receive additional grants to meet their specific needs. In order for the disabled staff to be given additional grants, the beneficiary higher education institution is required to request additional grants from the Turkish National Agency. The applications for additional grants should be made during the term of the contract, but in any case, up to 60 days before the contract end date. The Turkish National Agency will evaluate each application specifically and determine whether the additional grant can be granted.

Değerli Öğrencilerimiz,

Bildiğiniz gibi 2024-2025 akademik yılına ilişkin Erasmus+ KA131 öğrenim hareketliliği ilk başvuru sonuçları 4 Nisan 2024 tarihinde açıklanmış, sonuç duyurusunda ilgili listelerin kesin sonuç listeleri olmadığı ve kesin sonuç listesinin bölüm koordinatörlerinin değerlendirmesi ve resmi itiraz süresi sonlandıktan sonra (12 Nisan 2024) duyurulacağı belirtilmiştir. Bu kapsamda, sizlerden ve bölüm Erasmus Koordinatörlerinden gelen itiraz/talepler ve değerlendirmeler sonrasında, bölümlerimiz tarafından uygun bulunmayan başvurular olduğu görülmüş ve ayrıca itirazlar neticesinde yerleştirme sisteminde teknik bir hata tespit edilmiştir. Bu hatanın düzeltilmesi ve bölümlerimiz tarafından uygun bulunmayan başvuruların ardından ilgili üniversite kotalarının boş kalmaması adına yeni ve nihai bir yerleştirme yapılacaktır.

Bahsi geçen değerlendirme sonrasında, 4 Nisan 2024 tarihinde ilan edilen listelerde değişiklikler yaşanması beklendiğinden, yeni yerleştirme sonuçları ilan edilene kadar Uluslararası İş Birliği Ofisi tarafından yapılacak duyuruları beklemeniz ve herhangi bir belge hazırlamamanız rica edilmektedir.

NOT: Yeni yerleştirme sonuçlarının 24 Nisan 2024 (Çarşamba) tarihine kadar açıklanması planlanmaktadır.

Dear Students,

As you know, the first application results for Erasmus+ KA131 study mobility for the 2024-2025 academic year were announced on April 4, 2024, and it was stated in the result announcement that the relevant lists are not the final result lists and the final result list will be announced after the evaluation of the department coordinators and the official objection period (ends April 12, 2024). In this context, after the objections/requests and evaluations received from you and the departmental Erasmus Coordinators, it was seen that there were applications that were found to be inappropriate by our departments and also as a result of the objections, a technical error was detected in the placement system. A new and final placement will be made after the correction of this error and the applications found ineligible by our departments in order not to leave the relevant university quotas empty.

After the evaluation of these objections and requests, since the lists announced on April 4, 2024 are expected to change, you are kindly requested to wait for the announcements to be made by the International Cooperation Office and not to prepare any documents until the new placement results are announced.

NOTE: The new placement results are planned to be announced by April 24, 2024 (Wednesday).

1)      YERLEŞTİRME SONUÇLARI

 

2024 bütçe yılı Erasmus+ KA131 öğrenim programından yararlanmak üzere bir üniversiteye değişim yapmak üzere yerleştirilmiş olan öğrencilerin listesine (Liste1); ve başvuran tüm öğrencilerin yerleştirme detaylarına (Liste2) aşağıdaki bağlantıdan ulaşılabilir. Bu liste Erasmus+ KA131 öğrenim hareketliliği hibe sonuç listesi değildir. EĞER Liste2'de “Sonuç” sütununu boş görüyorsanız bu herhangi bir tercihinize yerleşemediğiniz anlamına gelmektedir. Yerleşen öğrenciler yerleştikleri tercih detaylar için Liste1'i incelemelidir. Herhangi bir üniversiteye yerleştirilememiş öğrenciler için yedek bir bekleme listesi bulunmamaktadır. Sadece “Tamamlanmış” durumdaki başvurular değerlendirmeye alınmıştır.  

İlgili listeler kesin sonuç listeleri DEĞİLDİR. Yerleştirme sonuçları ODTÜ bölüm Erasmus koordinatörlerinin incelemesi için iletilmiş olup, akademik açıdan katılımı uygun bulunmayan öğrencilerin başvuruları reddedilebilecektir. Kesin sonuç listesi, ilgili kontroller tamamlanıp aşağıda belirtilen resmi itiraz süreci sonlandıktan sonra ayrıca duyurulacaktır.

NEDEN (İSTEDİĞİM TERCİHİME) YERLEŞEMEDİM?

 

Bazı üniversitelerin kontenjanları birden fazla bölüme açık olabilir veya bazı bölümlerin o kontenjanda önceliği olabilir. Yine bazı üniversitelerde belli öğrenim seviyeleri (Master ve Doktora öğrencileri gibi) önceliklendiriliyor olabilir. Bu yüzden Liste 1’i incelerken mutlaka sitemizde bulunan Anlaşma listemizi inceleyiniz (https://ico.metu.edu.tr/erasmus-eu-agreements-0).

 

Yerleştirme sonuçlarına itiraz etmek isteyen öğrenciler 12 Nisan 2024 tarihine kadar Uluslararası İş Birlikleri Ofisi'ne bir dilekçe yazarak e-mail yoluyla europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr adresine başvurabilirler. Dilekçede belirtilen e-posta iletişim adresine UIO tarafından 30 Nisan 2024 tarihine kadar geri dönüş yapılacaktır.

 

2)      HİBE MİKTARLARI

 

Bu sonuçlar, Avrupa’da bulunan ODTÜ’nün Erasmus+ programı partneri olan üniversitelere yerleştirme sonucu olup Erasmus+ KA131 öğrenim hareketliliği programı hibe sonuçları değildir. Bu yerleştirme sırasında Türkiye Ulusal Ajansı henüz ODTÜ’ye 2024-2025 dönemi için tahsis edilecek Erasmus+ KA131 programı toplam hibe miktarını açıklamamıştır. Kaç öğrenciye hibe verileceği kesin değildir. Bu nedenle, 2024-2025 Akademik Yılı Sonbahar döneminde yerleştiği üniversiteye gidecek öğrencilerin kaçının Erasmus+ hibesi alacağı kesin olmadığından dolayı, üniversitemize tahsis edilecek Erasmus+ hibelerinin öğrencilere ödenmesinde de gecikmeler yaşanabilecektir. Lütfen bu durumu göz önünde bulundurarak karşı üniversiteye gidip gitmeme tercihinizi yapınız veya karşı kuruma gitme tercihinizi 2024-2025 Akademik Yılı Bahar dönemine erteleyiniz.

 

3)      YERLEŞTİRME KRİTERLERİ

Yerleştirme, başvuran öğrencilerin dönemi, bölümü, toplam puanı, anlaşma kontenjanları ve bölümlerin akademik değerlendirmeleri dikkate alınarak yapılmıştır. Başvuran öğrencilerin toplam (overall) puanı aşağıdaki şekilde hesaplanmıştır:

 

Erasmus+ yerleştirmeleri %50 CGPA ve %50 Dil puanı dikkate alınarak yapılmaktadır.

Ancak öğrencinin ağırlıklı not ortalaması belirlenirken, kümülatif not ortalaması (CGPA), kendi bölümündeki ve dönemindeki diğer öğrencilerin kümülatif not ortalamasına oranlanır. Örnek:

Öğrencinin Erasmus İngilizce Yeterlik Sınavı: 80 Öğrencinin not ortalaması: 3.15 İlgili bölümün ve dönemin öğrencilerinin CPGA: 2.89 Oran: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09 25*+1.09=26.09 Erasmus başvurusu icin kullanılacak puan : 3.15x26.09 = 82.18 olarak belirlenir. Overall Puan= ( 82.18*0.5) + ( 80*0.5)=  81.09 *%50 ortalama almak için kullanılan not dönüştürme katsayısı=25

Ayrica, Turkiye Ulusal Ajansi'nin belirlediği program kurallari gereği;

- Şehit ve gazi çocuğu olan öğrencilerin genel puanına 15 puan eklenmiştir.

- Engelli öğrencilerin genel puanına 10 puan eklenmiştir

.- 2828 sayılı Sosyal Hizmetler Kanunu kapsamında koruma altında olan öğrencilerin genel puanına 10 puan eklenmiştir.

- Kendisi veya birinci derece yakını AFAD'dan yardım alan öğrencilerin genel puanına 10 puan eklenmiştir.

- Uluslararası öğrencilerden vatandaşı oldukları ülkeler için başvuru yapanların genel notundan 10 puan düşülmüştür.

- Erasmus KA103/131 Hareketlilik programlarına her bir katılım için (öğrenim veya staj için) öğrencilerin genel puanından 10 puan düşülmüştür.

- Hem Erasmus öğrenci hem de staj hareketliliğine başvuran öğrencilerden tercihlerinden birine öncelik vermeleri beklenecektir. Tercih online başvuru sırasında belirtilmiştir. Öncelik verilmeyen tercihten 10 puan düşülmüştür.

Üniversite yerleştirme sonuçları açıklandıktan sonra öğrencilerin yerleştikleri üniversitelerde değişiklik yapılması mümkün değildir. 

 

ÖNEMLİ HATIRLATMALAR !!!

1) Erasmus+ KA131 programı kapsamında (Learning Agreement (LA) Before the Mobility) en az 30 ECTS almak zorunludur. Erasmus+ KA131 programı sonunda, başlangıçta alınmış olan 30 ECTS’den az 20 ECTS krediden başarılı olmayan hibeli öğrencilerin toplam hibelerinin %20’si ödenmez.

2) Erasmus+ KA131 programı dönüşünde karşı üniversitede alınan derslerden başarılı olunan derslerin ODTÜ’de saydırılması zorunludur.

3) Yerleştirilmiş olduğunuz üniversitenin başvurusuna ilişkin ders seçimi, eğitim dili, ECTS kredileri gibi detayları ilgili üniversitelerin web sayfalarından kontrol ediniz. Yerleştirildiğiniz üniversite ile anlaşmamız olması; bu üniversitenin eğitim dilinin İngilizce olduğu anlamına gelmemektedir.

Program kuralları gereği Erasmus+ KA131 öğrenim programına katılmaktan vazgeçmiş olan öğrencilerin kararlarını mümkün olan en kısa sürede ofis danışmanlarına bildirmeleri GEREKMEKTEDİR. Bunun için son tarih 31 Temmuz 2024’tür. Bu tarihten sonra çekildiğini bildirenlerden sonraki sene için 10 puan kesilecektir.

Başvuru sırasında seçmiş olduğu dönem tercihini değiştirmek isteyen öğrencilerin 12 Nisan 2024 tarihine kadar europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr adresine taleplerini bildirmeleri gerekmektedir. Dönem tercihi Bir Akademik Yıl olan öğrencilerin dönem uzatma talepleri kurumların karşılıklı onayına tabidir. Uzatılan dönemin hibelendirilmesi mümkün değildir.

1)      SELECTION RESULTS

The list is NOT the final result list. The placement results have been forwarded for review by METU departmental Erasmus coordinators and the applications of students who are not academically eligible to participate may be rejected. The final result list will be announced separately after the relevant checks are completed and the official appeal process specified below is finalized.

 

2)      GRANT RESULTS 

These results are only the placement to a partner university in Europe and do not reflect the Eramus+ KA131 program grant allocation results. The Turkish National Agency has not yet announced the amount of grant to be allocated to METU for the 2024-2025 academic year. The number of students who is entitled to receive grants will be determined according to the amount of the overall budget allocated to our university by the Turkish National Agency. This may cause some delays for granted students of Fall semester. The number of Erasmus+ grantees will be announced later. For these reasons, you can consider postponing your mobility period to Spring semester of 2024-2025 Academic Year.

 

3)      SELECTION CRITERIA

Students’ department, overall grade and agreement quotas and agreement specifications (Agreement details) as well as academic assessment of the departments have been taken into consideration during the selection process. Overall scores were calculated as follows:

 

According to the regulations of the Turkish National Agency, 50% of CGPA and 50% of the English language test score are taken into account in electing prospective Erasmus students. Besides, before calculating the 50% of the CGPA, a coefficient is applied on the CGPA according to the applicants' department and semester information as below:

 

Student English Proficency Score: 80

Student CGPA: 3.15

CGPA of the related department's students in the same semester with the applicant: 2.89

Ratio: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09

25*+1.09=26.09

Erasmus application score: 3.15x26.09 = 82.18

Overall Score of the Student: ( 82.18*0.5) + ( 80*0.5)=  81.09

*the convergent factor to calculate 50% of the CGPA = 25

 

Besides, based on rules established by Turkish National Agency:

-  15 points was added to the overall score of the students who are the children of martyries and veterans.

-  10 points was added to the overall score of students with disabilities.

-  10 points was added to the overall score of the students who are who have been under protection by 2828 Social Services Law.

- 10 points was added to the overall score of the students who themselves or their first-degree relatives receive aid from AFAD.

- 10 point was deduced from the overall grade of those international students who apply for the countries that they have their citizenships.

-  10 points was decreased from the overall score of the students for each participation of the Erasmus KA103/131 Mobility programs (either for studies or traineeships).

- The students who apply for both Erasmus student and traineeship mobility were expected to give priority to one of their choices. The preference was indicated during the online application. 10 points were decreased from the choice that was not prioritized.

 

4) PROCEDURES AFTER SELECTION:

The following procedures are compulsory for all students regardless of Erasmus+ with or without a grant !!!

Each student will have an advisor in International Cooperation Office (UİO). Your advisor will get in contact with you through e-mail.

 

For 2024-2025 results, it is not possible to change the university you are placed. 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!

 

1) According to Erasmus+ KA131 program rules(Learning Agreement Before (LA) Before the Mobility) you are expected to take 30 ECTS courses. After the program, if the granted students cannot be successful from at least 20 ECTS credits out of 30 ECTS, 20% of their grant will not be paid.

2) The courses completed successfully in the host university must be recognized in METU after return.

3)Please check the websites of the universities you have been placed. Having a bilateral agreement between METU and host university doesn’t necessarily guarantee that you will be able to find courses offered in English. So, you are responsible for checking the deadlines, offered courses, ECTS credits in advance.

 

Students who would like to withdraw from the programme should also immediately inform their ICO advisors of their withdrawal decision. The deadline for withdrawal is 31 July 2024. The students who withdraw after this date will have 10 points deducted for their applications the next year.

 

Students who would like to change their semester preferences indicated during the application  should also immediately inform their ICO advisors until April 12,2024. The students with Academic Year semester choice should note that the extension of Erasmus mobility depends on the mutual agreement of related universities. For granted students, no grant payment can be made for the extended semester.
