Değerli öğrencilerimiz,

ERASMUS+ KA103 2020 Proje Dönemi Öğrenci Staj Hareketliliği Başvuruları sonuçları listesine aşağıdaki linkten ulaşılabilir:

Üniversitemize tahsis edilen Erasmus+ KA103 Staj Programı 2020 proje yılı bütçesi kapsamında, 25.04.2022-11.05.2022 tarihleri arasında geçerli başvuruda bulunan öğrencilerimiz "Asil (hibeli)" olarak yerleştirilmiştir. Başvuru tarihleri içerisinde sisteme kabul mektubu yüklememiş olan öğrencilerin başvuruları, başvuru duyurusunda açıkça belirtilmiş kuralar gereği reddedilmiştir. Bütçe kısıtı nedeniyle, 3 aydan fazla kabul mektubu almış öğrencilerimize en fazla 3 aylık hibe tahsis edilmiştir. 3 aydan daha az kabul almış öğrencilerimiz, kabul mektuplarında belirtilen gün sayısı kadar hibelendirilecektir. Ancak, program kuralları gereği staj süresi 60 günden az olamaz. 

Yerleştirme sonuçlarına itiraz etmek isteyen öğrenciler 5 Haziran 2022 saat 23:59’a kadar Uluslararası İş Birlikleri Ofisi'ne bir dilekçe yazarak e-mail yoluya europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr adresine başvurabilirler. Dilekçede belirtilen e-posta iletişim adresine UIO tarafından 12.06.2022 tarihine kadar geri dönüş yapılacaktır.

 

Staj faaliyetinizin kabul mektuplarında belirtildiği üzere en az 60 gün olması ve en geç 31 Mayıs 2023 tarihine kadar gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir.

 

1)      Yerleştirme Kriterleri

Başvuran öğrencilerin toplam (overall) puanı aşağıdaki şekilde hesaplanmıştır:

Erasmus+ yerleştirmeleri %50 CGPA ve %50 DPİYS veya İYS dikkate alınarak yapılmaktadır.

 

Türkiye Ulusal Ajansı’nın belirlediği program kuralları gereği,

 

·    Daha önce aynı eğitim seviyesinde Erasmus+ programlarından (Erasmus+ Öğrenim, Staj) birine katılmış olan öğrencilerden her bir katılım için 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır. 

·    2828 sayılı Sosyal Hizmetler Kanunu kapsamında hakkında koruma kararı olan öğrencilere 10 puan eklenmiştir.

·    Engel durumunu gösterir geçerli resmi belgeyi başvuru sistemine yükleyen öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarına 10 puan eklenmiştir.

·    Şehit ve Gazi çocuğu olduğunu gösterir geçerli resmi belgeyi başvuru sistemine yükleyen öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarına 15 puan eklenmiştir.

 

2) Yerleştirme Sonrası Süreç 

Erasmus staj programı ile ilgili bilgilere Staj Öğrenci Bilgi Notu'ndan sahip olabilirsiniz. 

Program kuralları gereği Erasmus Staj programına katılmaktan vazgeçmiş olan öğrencilerin kararlarını 20 Haziran 2022 tarihine kadar ofis danışmanlarına (europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr) bildirmeleri GEREKMEKTEDİR.

 

Önemli Hatırlatma:

Erasmus Staj Programı dönüşünde, faaliyetin ODTÜ’de ders olarak saydırılması gerekmektedir. Zorunlu stajı olan bölüm öğrencileri, zorunlu staj dersleri yerine saydırabilirler; zorunlu stajı olmayan bölümlerin öğrencileri ve lisansüstü öğrenciler tüm bölümler için açılmış olan “International Student Practice” veya “International Graduate Student Practice” dersleri yerine saydırma yapabilirler.

 

Uluslararası İş Birlikleri Ofisinden danışmanlarınız ileriki bir tarihte atanacak ve sizlerle e-mail yoluyla iletişime geçeceklerdir. Süreçle ilgili acil sorularınızı/belge taleplerinizi europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr adresine iletmeniz gerekmektedir.

Dear students,

The results for the ERASMUS+ KA103 2020 PROJECT TERM MOBILITY PROGRAM FOR STUDENT TRAINEESHIP APPLICATIONS can be found below:

ERASMUS+ KA103 2020 PROJECT TERM MOBILITY PROGRAM FOR STUDENT TRAINEESHIP APPLICATION RESULTS

 

 

Students who had a valid application were placed as “granted”. The applications of those students, who did not provide acceptance letters to the system within the application period (25.04.2022-11.05.2022), were rejected according to the rules that were clearly stated in the application call. Due to the budget limitations, the students who had an acceptance letter more than 3 months will be granted for a maximum of 3-months scholarship. Other students whose acceptance letters are less than 3-months will be granted based on the dates on the letters. 

 

If you would like to object to selection results, you should email a scanned petition to International Cooperations Office (europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr) until June 05, 2022. ICO will respond to the petition until June 12, 2022 through the e-mail address indicated in the petition.

  

The traineeship activity, which must last at least two months (60 days), must be carried out before May 31, 2023.

 

1)      Selection Criteria

Overall scores were calculated as follows:

According to the regulations of the Turkish National Agency, 50% of CGPA and 50% of the EPEEP are taken into account in selecting prospective Erasmus students.

 

· 10 points are decreased from the overall score of the students for each participation of the Erasmus KA103 student mobility/ Erasmus Traineeship in the same study cycle.

· 15 points are added to the overall score of the students who are the children of martyries and veterans. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

· 10 points are added to the overall score of students with disabilities. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

· 10 points are added to the overall score of the students who are who have been under protection by 2828 Social Services Law. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

 

2)      Procedures After Selection

What is expected from the students on the first phase is explained in  Traineeship Outgoing Information Document.

 

Each student will have an advisor in International Cooperations Office (ICO), (to be appointed at a later date). The advisors will get in contact with you through e-mail addresses you provided during your applications.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the International Cooperation Office will minimize face-to-face counseling. For this reason, you should reach our office consultants by phone or e-mail before coming to the office.

 

Students who would like to withdraw from the Erasmus Traineeship program should also inform ICO advisors (europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr) of their withdrawal decision until 20 June 2022.

 

Important Notice:

 

1)  It is compulsory to make traineeship activity be recognized at METU after the return. The students with compulsory traineeship courses in their curriculum may transfer their traineeship activity to that course. For other students who do not have compulsory traineeship courses in their curriculum or graduate students may use “International Student Practice” or “International Graduate Student Practice” courses for recognition.

 

Değerli ODTÜ Mensupları,

 

Erasmus+ KA107 Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliği 2. başvuru dönemi (2019-2022 proje dönemi kapsamında) 24 Mayıs-15 Haziran, 2022 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilecektir.

 

Bu faaliyet kapsamında idari görev yapmak üzere istihdam edilen personelin mevcut işi ile ilgili konularda sahip olduğu becerileri geliştirmek üzere çeşitli eğitimler (işbaşı eğitimleri, gözlem süreçleri, organize personel hareketliliği haftaları gibi) alması mümkündür. Bu faaliyette personelin mevcut kurum ve biriminde verdiği hizmetlerin kalitesini attırması, iyi uygulama örneklerini kurumuna ve birimine aktarması ve bu yönde bir tecrübe edinmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Konferans katılımları ise faaliyet kapsamında desteklenememektedir.

 

Erasmus+ KA107 Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliği kapsamında gidilecek kurum ile ODTÜ arasında Erasmus+ anlaşmasının bulunması şartı aranmamaktadır. Anlaşmalı bir üniversiteye gidilmek istenmesi durumunda, personel hareketliliğine yönelik üniversitemizin mevcut anlaşma listesi ekte görülebilir.

Ayrıca personelin, eğitim almak üzere ortak ülkede bir işletmeye gidebilmesi de mümkün değildir; hareketlilik gerçekleştirilecek kurumun bir yükseköğretim kurumu olması beklenmektedir. 

 

1. Başvuru Koşulları

 

• Adayların başvuru sırasında ODTU mensubu olmaları ve fiilen görev yapmaları gerekmektedir.
• Üniversitemizde Daire Başkanlıkları, Rektörlüğe bağlı birimler, akademik bölümler ve merkezlerde memur, uzman, eğitim-öğretim planlayıcısı, çevirici, 33.madde kadrolarında çalışan personelin bu faaliyet türüne katılmaları uygun görülmektedir. 50/D kadrosundaki personelden yalnızca tam zamanlı idari görevi bulunan personelin bu faaliyet türüne katılması uygundur.
• Adayların başvuru sırasında yeterli yabancı dil bilgisine sahip olduğunu (minimum koşullar: YDS/YÖKDİL C, İYS 59.5, IELTS 6.0, TOEFL IBT 75) belgelemeleri gerekmektedir. Yabancı dille eğitim yapan bir üniversiteden lisans veya lisans üstü diploması almış olan mensuplarımızın ilgili diploma örneğini sunmaları yeterlidir. ODTÜ Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu (YDYO) tarafından idari personele yönelik düzenlenen İngilizce kurslarının “advanced” seviyesindeki kurunun tamamladığına dair onaylı sertifika da kabul edilmektedir.    
• Adaylar en fazla 3 ülke için başvuru yapabilirler. Birden fazla ülkeye başvuran adayların en çok istedikleri ülkeyi ilk tercihlerine yazmaları ve tercihlerini sıralamaları gerekmektedir.
• Başvurulan her ülke için bir üniversiteden ön kabul alınması gerekmektedir. Tercih edilen kurum(lar) ile son başvuru tarihi olan 15 Haziran 2022 tarihinden önce iletişim kurulmuş ve e-posta aracılığıyla da olsa on kabul alınmış olması beklenmektedir.
• Ön kabul almayan adaylar secim surecinde değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır. İlgili ön kabulün rektörlük/dekanlık düzeyinde olması şartı aranmamaktadır, faaliyetin gerçekleşeceği birimden onay alınması yeterlidir.

2. Başvuru Belgeleri

• Online başvuru formu; tüm başvuru ve sonuç işlemleri E-Devlet Kariyer Kapısı platformu üzerinden (https://portal.ua.gov.tr/) yürütülecektir. Adayların bu platform üzerinden başvurularını tamamlamaları ve başvuru belgelerini de bu platforma yüklemeleri gerekmektedir. Başvuru platformu 15.06.2022 tarihinde saat 23:59'da kapanacaktır. Başvuru formuna ilişkin rehber ekte görülebilir. 
• Tercih edilen üniversiteden alınan onaylı ön kabul mektubu/mesajı (ön kabul için hazırlanmış örnek davet mektubu ekte bulunabilir): üniversitelerin kendi davet mektuplarını kullanmaları veya e-posta ile onay vermeleri de mümkündür. İlgili ön kabul, online başvuru formuna yüklenecektir. 
• Yabancı dil bilgisine ait belge (online başvuru formuna yüklenecektir). 
• Başvuru belgelerinin 15 Haziran 2022 tarihine kadar online başvuru formuna yüklenerek başvurunun tamamlanması gerekmektedir.

 

3. Seçim Kriterleri

 

Erasmus+ KA107 Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliği başvurularında kullanılan seçim kriterleri ekte görülebilir.

 

4. Personel Eğitim Alma Hareketliliği için Asgari ve Azami Süreler

 

Personel eğitim alma hareketliliği için faaliyet süresi, seyahat hariç en az 5 iş günü olmalıdır. Personel eğitim alma hareketliliğinde, katılım sertifikasında yararlanıcının 5 günden az süre ile faaliyet gerçekleştirdiği durumlarda, faaliyet geçersiz kabul edilir ve yararlanıcıya herhangi bir hibe ödemesi yapılmaz. Hibe hesaplamaları yapılırken minimum 5 günlük faaliyet süresine ek olarak 2 gün de seyahat gününe hibe sağlanır. Ancak seyahat günü hibesinin sağlanabilmesi için seyahat günlerinin faaliyet süresine dâhil olmaması gerekmektedir.

 

Üniversitemiz bünyesinde daha çok sayıda personelin programdan yararlanmasını sağlamak amacıyla, ilgili ülkenin bütçesine göre, maksimum hareketlilik süresi 1 veya 2 hafta olarak belirlenmiştir. Talebin yüksek olması durumunda, hareketlilik süresi tüm ülkeler için 1 hafta ile sınırlandırılabilecektir.

 

Partner listesindeki “Maksimum Hareketlilik Süresi” kısmı, ilgili ülkede hibelendirilebilecek maksimum faaliyet süresini göstermektedir. Bir haftadan daha uzun hareketlilikleri desteklemek üzere hibe bulunan ülkelerde, yalnızca bir başvuru olması durumunda, tüm ülke bütçesinin bir adaya verilmesi mümkündür. Birden fazla başvuru olması durumunda ise mevcut ülke bütçesi, program kuralları kapsamında en yüksek puanlı adaylar arasında min. 1 hafta olacak şekilde paylaştırılacaktır.

 

Eğitim alma faaliyetinin 31 Temmuz 2022 tarihine kadar gerçekleşmesi gerekmektedir. Yararlanıcıların 31 Temmuz 2022 tarihinden sonra faaliyete katılmaları mümkün değildir.

 

5. Erasmus+ Hibe Miktarları

 

5. 1. Erasmus+ Günlük Hibe Miktarları

 

Erasmus+ KA107 Personel Eğitim Alma faaliyetinden yararlanacak personele verilecek olan gündelik hibe miktarı tüm ülkeler için günlük 180 Avro’dur. 14 günü aşan hareketliliklerde günlük hibe miktarı 126 Avro olmaktadır. Programdan hibesiz olarak yararlanmak da mümkündür.

 

Toplam seyahat süresinin 2 günü aştığı durumlarda aşan günler için hibe ödenmemektedir (seyahat günleri için maksimum 2 günlük ödenir). Seyahat günleri adına bireysel hibe ödemesi yapılabilmesi için seyahat günlerinin, eğitim alma faaliyetinin gerçekleştiği günlerden farklı günlerde gerçekleşmesi gerekmektedir.

 

5.2. Mesafeye Göre Seyahat Desteği Tutarı

 

Personel hareketliliği faaliyetinden faydalanan personeline ödenecek seyahat gideri miktarı “Mesafe Hesaplayıcı” kullanılarak hesap edilmektedir.

Seyahat desteği çift yönlü bilet ücretinden bağımsız olarak verilmektedir. Gidiş-dönüş bilet ücreti toplam seyahat desteğinden fazla olursa ek seyahat desteği verilmeyecek, az olursa kalan meblağ geri istenmeyecektir.

Mesafe hesaplayıcısına aşağıdaki bağlantıdan ulaşılabilmektedir:

Mesafe hesaplayıcısı aracılığı ile personelin yerleşik olduğu yerden, faaliyet yerine kadar olan 2 nokta arasının km değeri tespit edilmeli ve aşağıdaki tablo kullanılarak seyahat hibesi hesaplanmalıdır. Mesafe hesaplayıcıda çıkan kilometrenin aşağıdaki tablodaki hibe karşılığı gidiş-dönüş rakamı olup, söz konusu miktar ikiyle çarpılmaz. Personelin aktarmalı olarak seyahat etmesi, yukarıda belirtilen mesafe hesaplaması ile varılan mesafeyi etkilemez.

5.3. Örnek Hibe Hesaplaması

Örneğin Arnavutluk’ta gerçekleşecek 5 günlük eğitim alma faaliyeti için aşağıdaki şekilde hibe hesaplaması yapılır:

180*5 (hareketlilik günleri) + 180*2 (seyahat günleri) + 275 (seyahat desteği) = 1535 €.

6. Hibesiz Yararlanma Durumu

 

İdari personelin kurum/birim yönetici onayı olduğu takdirde hibe almaksızın faaliyete katılması mümkündür. Hibesiz personelin farkı, personelin bütçe hesaplamalarına dâhil edilmemesi ve kendisine hiçbir ödeme yapılmamasıdır. Hibe alınmaması personelin seçim sürecine dâhil olmamasına gerekçe değildir. Faaliyetten hibesiz faydalanılabilmesi için de başvuru yapılması ve başvurunun diğer başvurularla beraber değerlendirmeye tabi tutulması gerekmektedir.

7. Engelli Yararlanıcılar için Ek Hibe Desteği

Erasmus+ Programına katılan engelli yararlanıcılara aldıkları standart hibelerine ek olarak özel ihtiyaçlarına yardımcı olmak üzere ilave hibe verilebilmektedir. Engelli öğrenci ve personele fazla hibe verilebilmesi için yararlanıcı yükseköğretim kurumu tarafından Merkezden ilave hibe talebinde bulunulması gerekmektedir. İlave hibe talebi sözleşme dönemi içerisinde, ama her hal ve durumda sözleşme bitiş tarihinden 60 gün öncesine kadar yapılabilir. Merkez her bir başvuruyu özel olarak değerlendirir; ilave hibe verilip verilemeyeceğini, verilebilecekse uygun hibe miktarını kararlaştırır. Dear Faculty/Institute Members,

The 2^nd call for application period for Academic Staff Mobility for Teaching to non-European countries (2019-22 project) has been launched. Applications will be taken between 24 May 2022 to 15 June 2022.

Mobility activities within the framework of this specific call must take place until 31 July 2022.

 

Erasmus+ KA107 Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA) is a fully funded mobility activity that allows academic staff of a Higher Education Institution (HEI) to teach and carry out joint academic/educational activities at a partner HEI in the program countries around the globe. Erasmus+ KA107 Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments can include a variety of activities such as lecturing, hands-on teaching activities, giving seminars and organizing workshops.

 

Please find the list of countries and partner universities which can be visited under this call attached to this e-mail. The Program budget can only be used for mobility to the partner universities in the list specific to this call. Funding cannot be provided for mobility towards non-partner universities. For the countries which require visa, applicants are advised to evaluate visa requirements and the deadline of the project.

 

The partner list and the total budget for maximum weeks are subject to change. Total budget for maximum weeks may increase depending on the budget that may become available through other mobility types & withdrawing participants/applicants.

 

1. Application Conditions (Minimum Requirements)

·        

Applicants must be a member of METU and they must be actively working at METU at the time of application,

·        

Applicants must be employed for teaching and lecturing at METU (i.e. staff who works as Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor)

·        

Applicants are expected to get in touch with the preferred HEI (from the attached list) and receive an acceptance letter or confirmation e-mail prior to the application deadline (15 June 2022).  

2. Application Procedure & Application Documents

• Step 1: Check the attached Partner list to see the availability of funding for partner countries and universities for this specific call.
• Step 2: Obtain an Acceptance Letter or confirmation e-mail (either from the International Office or related academic department at the partner university). You can find a draft for pre-admission letter for your use attached.
• Step 3: Fill the application form and upload your acceptance document. All applications, selections and placements will be carried out online and through the E-Devlet Career Gate platform initiated by the Turkish National Agency. Application documents should not be physically transmitted, but only uploaded to the relevant section of the Application Portal.

The application portal, which is configured on the E-Devlet Career Gate platform will be closed on 15.06.2022 at 23:59. After the specified date and time, no applications or documents can be uploaded into the system. Application procedures will be carried out only through the National Agency Application Portal:https://portal.ua.gov.tr/

All applications will be evaluated by METU ICO according to fair and transparent selection criteria (please see Section 3 below) and the results will be announced at E-Devlet Career Gate platform and www.ico.metu.edu.tr 

Important Remarks:

1.   Applications of those candidates who have not received pre-admission will not be evaluated in the selection process.

2.   It is possible to apply for more than one countries (3 preferences). But, the applicants need to submit an acceptance letter or pre-admission e-mail for each of their preferences. 

3. Selection Criteria

4. Duration of the Activities

 

According to KA107 program rules, duration of teaching mobility ranges from 5 days to 2 months (max.) excluding travel time. In order to learn the maximum duration of the teaching activity that can be funded, please check the attached Partner list for this call.

 

In the list, “maximum week” column indicates the maximum number of weeks available for funding in the related country budget. For those countries in which the budget is available to support more than one week, it may be possible to allocate the whole budget to one teaching staff, if there is only one applicant. In case of having more than one application, the available budget will be shared among applicants according to program rules.

 

Please be aware that the partner list and the total budget for maximum weeks are subject to change. Total budget for maximum weeks may increase depending on the budget that may become available through other mobility types and withdrawing applicants/participants.

 

The teaching activity has to comprise a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week (5 days) and there must be a teaching activity for each day of the mobility. For teaching activities that will last more than one week, minimum teaching hours must be calculated in proportion to the minimum requirement (e.g., 16 hours/2 weeks, 24 hours/3 weeks).

 

Important Remarks:

1.   If the teaching activity/teaching hours last less than the minimum requirements, the activity is considered as void by the funding body and the grant payment will not be made for the related activity.

 

2.   The activity must take place until 31 July 2022. It is not possible for the beneficiaries to conduct their mobility after 31 July 2022.

 

5. Erasmus+ Funding

 

5.1. Daily Grant Amounts

Daily Grant: 180 € for all countries (for mobility periods exceeding 14 days, daily grant is 126 €)

 

Daily grant is allowed for teaching days and travel days up to 2 days.

 

Even if the travel days exceed 2 days, it is not possible for beneficiaries to receive daily grants for more than 2 days of travel. In order to provide Erasmus+ funding for the travel days, the travel should take place outside of the teaching days.

 

5.2. Travel Amount by Distance

In addition to daily grants, participants will receive a travel support as well. The travel support is a fixed amount, independent of the price of plane tickets. The travel amount is calculated by using the “Distance Calculator” below:

The distance calculator is used to determine the distance between the location where the staff is residing and the place of activity. The kilometers in distance calculated by the distance calculator corresponds to the round-trip and the amount does not get multiplied by two.

5.3. A Sample of Grant Calculation

A visit to Albania for 1 week (5 days of teaching & 2 days of travel):

Total grant = 180*5 (mobility days) + 180*2 (travel days) + 275 (travel support) = 1535 €.

Participants receive 70% of the total financial support at the beginning of their mobility period and the remaining 30% when the teaching programme is over.

6. Additional Grant for Disabled Participants

For disabled participants, it is possible to receive additional grants to meet their specific needs. In order for the disabled staff to be given additional grants, METU is required to request additional grants from the Turkish National Agency. Applications for additional grants should be made during the term of the contract, but in any case up to 60 days before the contract end date. The Turkish National Agency will evaluate each application specifically and determine whether the additional grant can be granted, and if so, the appropriate grant amount. 7. Erasmus Staff Mobility without Grant (Zero-Grant)

 

It is possible to participate in Erasmus+ KA107 STA programme without getting any grant. Those staff members who would like to participate in the programme on a zero-grant basis need to submit an application to ICO under the current call and their applications will be evaluated along with all the others. Those participants with zero grant also have to fulfill the obligations of the program.

2020 Project Term Erasmus+ KA103 European Traineeship Applications

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 

The applications to Erasmus+ KA103 programme European Traineeship within the 2020 project term will be held between 25.04.2022 – 11.05.2022, by 23:59. The details of the application and  statistics beloning to the previous year can be found below.

IMPORTANT

Please bear in mind that:

-Traineeship activity cannot be used to carry out academic and scientific studies such as research assignments or analysis studies within the scope of a specific curriculum. Activities conducted by students in order to complete or support their own scientific studies like scientific researches and projects are not accepted as internship activities. In order for these activities to be accepted as traineeship activities, they should be carried out as professional activities that are economically viable in the related sector, not in academic studies.

-The following organizations are not eligible for Erasmus + traineeship activity:

EU institutions and agencies (https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/institutions-bodies_en)

·        

National Agencies and similar institutions carrying out EU programs

 -Make sure that traineeship activity will be recognized by the departments as International Student Practice course.

·        

Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic some details and rules are subject to change!!! 

Who can apply?

·        

Applicants must be registered at METU as full-degree students (undergraduate or graduate level) at the time of application.

·        

Applicants must complete at least one semester at METU.

·        

Conditional Program (Bilimsel Hazırlık) students and students studying in the Department of Basic English are not eligible to apply.

Start and End Dates of the Application

The application period is 25.04.2022 – 11.05.2022. The application period will end at by 23.59.

How to Apply?

All application, selection and placement of traineeship program will be carried out online and through the E-Devlet Career Gate platform initiated by the Turkish National Agency. Application documents should not be physically transmitted, but only uploaded to the relevant section of the Application Portal. It is essential to strictly adhere to the specified date range in order to carry out the online application processes and upload the application documents online.

The application portal, which is configured on the E-Devlet Career Gate platform, will be closed on 11.05.2022 at 23:59. After the specified date and time, no applications or documents can be uploaded into the system. Application procedures will be carried out only through the National Agency Application Portal: https://portal.ua.gov.tr/ You can find the details about the application portal from the link below.

During the online application, applicants will be asked to submit an acceptance letter obtained from a firm/institution where the traineeship will take place to the system. Late submissions will not be accepted. 

The acceptance letters should be signed, stamped and written on a headed paper (antetli kağıt) and include:

- dates & subject of the traineeship

- name of the institution where the traineeship will take place

- name and function of the person who signs the letter

In the acceptance letters, it should be specified that the applicants will work as a trainee rather than a researcher. Those letters including such notions as “research” or “scientific study” will not be accepted. 

The traineeship period of the selected/placed applicants must be completed before 31 May 2023.

Sample Acceptance Letters

For the application to be valid, the acceptance letters will be evaluated and should be approved by International Cooperations Office of METU (ICO). During the application period, ICO officers will regularly review the acceptance letters according to the criteria indicated above from the application system. The applicants will be able to to make changes in the acceptance letters during the application period. 

. The eligibility/validity of the acceptance letter will be decided based on the last version uploaded to the online application system by 11.05.2022 before 23.59. Hence, it will not be possible to upload any edited document after this deadline.  

 

Minimum CGPA Requirement for Application

Interested undergraduate students must have at least 2,5 CGPA and graduate level students must have at least 3,0 CGPA out of 4,0.

 

Language Proficiency RequirementIt is obligatory to have a valid English test score from an exam which was taken within the last 5 years before the application deadline and the test must be one of the exams recognized by METU. Without such a valid English test score, the application will not be completed and will not be considered for evaluation. . The valid score can be one of the following options:

International Cooperations Office will discontinue holding English Proficiency Exam for Exchange Programs (EPEEP) based on the University Senate decision given on December 29, 2021. No EPEEP exam will be held starting from 2022. However, students interested in applying to ICO programs such as Erasmus+, Overseas Exchange or Mevlana will be able to bring any English language score taken within the last 5 years before the application period. These scores must be one of the METU recognized exams. Please check which exams are recognized by METU from the link

 and prepare your valid score. You need to upload your language score which is recognized by METU on the application system which will be checked for the validity and eligibility by ICO. The table below will be used for conversion of METU's recognised exams into a grading scale ranging from 1 to 100, the highest score. Then the online system will calculate its 50% for the selection purposes (see Selection Criteria section) as explained below:

Selection Criteria

According to the regulations of the Turkish National Agency, 50% of CGPA and 50% of the English language test score are taken into account in electing prospective Erasmus students.

-  15 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are the children of martyrs and veterans. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

-  10 points will be added to the overall score of students with disabilities. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.         

-  10 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are who have been under protection by 2828 Social Services Law. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

 To get these additional points, applicants have to submit their official proofs by 11.05.2022 to online application from e-Devlet. It is the applicants’s own responsibility to provide valid and reliable proofs.

- 10 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students for previous participation to the Erasmus KA103 Erasmus Traineeship in the same study cycle.

 

Duration of the Activity

METU Rules:

In order to provide mobility opportunities for a higher number of students and because of the budget limitations at METU, the maximum duration of the granted period is limited to 3 months. The Erasmus+ trainees selected for this period will be able to receive an Erasmus grant for a max of 3 month-period.      

Program Rules:

The duration of the activity is between 2 and 12 months, valid separately for each degree level. The traineeship period cannot be less than 2 months (60 days). 

Students can participate in the Erasmus program more than once. The same student may receive grants for mobility periods totaling up to 12 months per each cycle of study (UG, MS, Ph.D.), independently from the number and type of mobility activities. This means the duration of Erasmus grants for Erasmus traineeship mobility and Erasmus student mobility and in a specific cycle of study for a student can be maximum of 12 months.

UK, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Cyprus, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Greece

3rd Group Program Countries: 400 €       

Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Croatia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia

In the case of budget limitations, it is also possible to participate in the program without receiving any grant. Those applicants who would like to participate in the program without a grant need to make the application and their applications need to be evaluated as the others. Those participants with zero grants have to fulfill the rights and obligations of the program.

Students who would like to withdraw from the Erasmus traineeship program should inform ICO about withdrawal decision latest by June 15, 2022. Please bear in mind that students who withdraw from the program after June 15, except for the force- majeure cases, will lose 10 points for their future Erasmus applications at the same study cycle (academic level).

IMPORTANT NOTICE 

Based on the previous experiences and views of the students, the acceptance letters taken from Dpoint Group and Anidra People’s University will not be accepted. Please select your traineeship firm/institution more carefully.

Students may be required to obtain a visa for the traineeship period. Please keep in mind that visa procedures may take a long time and students may have to pay fees for visa application (fee amounts vary). Please consult with the embassy of the related country.

Staj başvuruları için açıklanan yasal itiraz süresi 15 Nisan 2022’de sona ermiştir. Bu tarihe kadar yapılan itirazların değerlendirilmesi neticesinde yeni ve nihai liste bu duyuru ile açıklanmaktadır. Bu tarihten sonra yapılacak itirazlar işleme alınmayacaktır. Ofisimiz tarafından yürütülen Erasmus öğrenim hareketliliğinden çekilen adaylar sonucu staj bütçemize aktarım yapılmıştır. Bunun sonucu olarak hibeli öğrenci sayımız artmıştır. Üniversitemize tahsis edilen Erasmus+ KA131 Staj Programı 2022 bütçe dönemi kapsamında geçerli başvuruda bulunan ilk 65 öğrencimiz "hibeli" olarak yerleştirilmiştir. Bütçe kısıtı nedeniyle, 3 aydan fazla kabul mektubu almış öğrencilerimize en fazla 3 aylık hibe tahsis edilmiştir. 3 aydan daha az kabul almış öğrencilerimiz, kabul mektuplarında belirtilen gün sayısı kadar hibelendirilecektir. Ancak, program kuralları gereği staj süresi 60 günden az olamaz. 

 

Yerleştirme sonuçlarına itiraz etmek isteyen öğrenciler 15 Nisan 2022 tarihine kadar Uluslararası İş Birliği Ofisi'ne bir dilekçe yazarak e-mail yoluya europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr adresine başvurabilirler. Dilekçede belirtilen e-posta iletişim adresine UIO tarafından 15.05.2022 tarihine kadar geri dönüş yapılacaktır.

 

Staj faaliyetinizin kabul mektuplarında belirtildiği üzere en az 60 gün olması ve en geç 31 Ekim 2023 tarihine kadar gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir.

 

1)      Yerleştirme Kriterleri

Başvuran öğrencilerin toplam (overall) puanı aşağıdaki şekilde hesaplanmıştır:

Erasmus+ yerleştirmeleri %50 CGPA ve %50 DPİYS veya İYS dikkate alınarak yapılmaktadır.

Ancak öğrencinin ağırlıklı not ortalaması belirlenirken, kümülatif not ortalaması (CGPA), kendi bölümündeki ve dönemindeki diğer öğrencilerin kümülatif not ortalamasına oranlanır.

Örnek:

Öğrenci CGPA: 3.15

İlgili bölümün ve dönemin öğrencilerinin CPGA: 2.89

Oran: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09

25*+1.09=26.09

Erasmus başvuru puanı: 3.15x26.09 = 82.18 olarak belirlenir.

*%50 ortalama almak için kullanılan not dönüştürme katsayısı=25

Türkiye Ulusal Ajansı’nın belirlediği program kuralları gereği,

 

·    

2021-2022 Akademik Yılı için Erasmus programına da başvuru yapmış ve önceliğini Erasmus Öğrenim programına vermiş olan öğrencilerden 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır.

·    

Daha önce aynı eğitim seviyesinde Erasmus+ programlarından (Erasmus+ Öğrenim, Staj) birine katılmş olan öğrencilerden her katılım için 10 puan kesinti yapılmıştır. 

·    

2828 sayılı Sosyal Hizmetler Kanunu kapsamında hakkında koruma kararı olan öğrencilere 10 puan eklenmiştir.

·    

Engel durumunu gösterir geçerli resmi belgeyi başvuru sistemine yükleyen öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarına 10 puan eklenmiştir.

·    

Şehit ve Gazi çocuğu olduğunu gösterir geçerli resmi belgeyi başvuru sistemine yükleyen öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarına 15 puan eklenmiştir.

·    

Stajlarını “Digital Opportunity Traineeships” kapsamında gerçekleştirmeyi planlayan ve kabul mektupları bu kapsama giren öğrencilerin “overall” puanlarına 5 puan eklenmiştir.

 

2) Yerleştirme Sonrası Süreç 

Erasmus staj programı ile ilgili bilgilere Staj Öğrenci Bilgi Notu'ndan sahip olabilirsiniz. 

Program kuralları gereği Erasmus Staj programına katılmaktan vazgeçmiş olan öğrencilerin kararlarını 30 Nisan 2022 tarihine kadar ofis danışmanlarına bildirmeleri GEREKMEKTEDİR.

 

Önemli Hatırlatma:

Erasmus Staj Programı dönüşünde, faaliyetin ODTÜ’de ders olarak saydırılması gerekmektedir. Zorunlu Stajı olan bölüm öğrencileri, zorunlu staj dersleri yerine saydırabilirler; zorunlu stajı olmayan bölümlerin öğrencileri ve lisansüstü öğrenciler tüm bölümler için açılmış olan “International Student Practice” veya “International Graduate Student Practice” dersleri yerine saydırma yapabilirler.

Dear students,

 

The formal objection period ended on 15 April 2022. The objection that were made until this period has been evaluated and this final list is formed according to these evaluations. The objections that will be made after this date will not be taken into account. The grants from students who withdrew from Erasmus Mobility for Studies transferred to Erasmus Mobility for Traineeship and the number of granted students has increased. The number of granted students may increase in case of new withdrawals. You can check your grant status from the links below.

 

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the International Cooperation Office will minimize face-to-face counseling. For this reason, you should reach our office consultants by phone or e-mail before coming to the office.

Students who had a valid application and was in the first 65 students were placed as “granted list”.  Due to the budget limitations, the students who had an acceptance letter more than 3 months will be granted for a maximum of 3-months scholarship. Other students whose acceptance letters are less than 3-months will be granted based on the dates on the letters. 

 

If you would like to object to selection results, you should email a scanned petition to International Cooperations Office (europeanmobility@metu.edu.tr) until April 15, 2022. ICO will respond to the petition until April 30, 2022 through the e-mail address indicated in the petition.

  

The traineeship activity, which must last at least two months (60 days), must be carried out before October 31, 2023.

 

1)      Selection Criteria

Overall scores were calculated as follows:

According to the regulations of the Turkish National Agency, 50% of CGPA and 50% of the EPEEP are taken into account in selecting prospective Erasmus students. Besides, before calculating the 50% of the CGPA, a coefficient is applied on the CGPA according to the applicants' department and semester information as below:

 

Student CGPA: 3.15

CGPA of the related department's students in the same semester with the applicant: 2.89

Ratio: 3.15/2.89 = 1.09

25*+1.09=26.09

Overall Erasmus application score: 3.15x26.09 = 82.18

*the convergent factor to calculate 50% of the CGPA = 25

·      

10 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students for each participation of the Erasmus KA103 student mobility/ Erasmus Traineeship in the same study cycle.

·      

The students who apply for both Erasmus student and traineeship mobility will be expected to give priority to one of their choices. The preference was indicated during the online application. 10 points will be decreased from the choice that is not prioritized.

·      

15 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are  the childrens of martyries and veterans. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

·      

10 points will be added to the overall score of students with disabilities. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

·      

10 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are who have been under protection by 2828 Social Services Law. The proving documents must be submitted to the online application system during the application period.

·      

5 points will be added to the overall score of the students who will do a traineeship activity that’s in scope of Digital Opportunity Traineeships (cybersecurity, big data, digital marketing, software development, social media management etc.). You can select this option during your online application and your acceptance letters will be examined by ICO to confirm that your traineeship is in this scope.

 

2)      Procedures After Selection

What is expected from the students on the first phase is explained in  Traineeship Outgoing Information Document.

 

Each student will have an advisor in International Cooperations Office (ICO). The contact information of the advisors can be found in the list above.

 

Students who would like to withdraw from the Erasmus Traineeship program should also inform their ICO advisors of their withdrawal decision until 30 April 2021.

Important Notice:

 

1)  It is compulsory to make traineeship activity be recognized at METU after the return. The students with compulsory traineeship courses in their curriculum may transfer their traineeship activity to that course. For other students who do not have compulsory traineeship courses in their curriculum or graduate students may use “International Student Practice” or “International Graduate Student Practice” courses for recognition.
