This year's theme will be "Third Mission - structures and examples of university social responsibility".

The Staff Week will take place 3-6 December 2018 (arrival day on Sunday, departure day on Friday).

The Konstanz Staff Training Week is an opportunity to discuss different approaches of how higher institutions approach society, pursue public engagement,  encourage students to engage and implement these activities as a third pillar aside from research and education.

An inspiring key note will introduce you to the current state in Germany, followed by presentation of Konstanz' initiatives. In addition, general information about the University of Konstanz and social events are included. You will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from the departments and to participate in our annual International Day, organized for Konstanz students wishing to study abroad. The language of communication will be English.
