From the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid we would like to share with you our new strategic focus in the promotion of Internationalisation at Home: the development of COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) projects to strengthen our faculty’s international collaborations and to offer intercultural learning experiences to our students.
Within this framework, several faculty members from our university have expressed their interest in finding international partners to jointly design COIL projects. To this end, they have published individual profiles on our institutional website including their academic background, fields of expertise, and collaboration proposals: https://www.uam.es/uam/internacionalizacion-en-casa/coil. While the profiles are organized by faculty and discipline, we have also included the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that each project addresses to encourage interdisciplinarity, inviting faculty to explore profiles beyond their own area of expertise. Each profile also contains the contact email of the interested faculty member to facilitate direct communication between colleagues with shared interests.
We would like to encourage you contact our lecturers directly using the information provided in the profiles. We firmly believe that this type of collaboration can be highly enriching for both institutions and can help lay the groundwork for future joint initiatives.
