Warm greetings from the Office of International Affairs at National Taiwan University(NTU)!

We are delighted to announce the launch of our 2026 NTU Plus Academy Summer+ Programs. 
The NTU Plus Academy offers a variety of topic-based short-term programs, designed to provide international students with diverse learning experiences and meaningful opportunities to engage with different cultural perspectives. Program information is available at:

A summary of the program categories is provided below.

 

1. Chinese Studies: 

Our language courses accommodate both complete beginners and students with prior Chinese Learning experience. Based on placement test results, classes will be arranged with approximately ten students each, with flexibility depending on final enrollment.

  • Chinese Language and Culture Program (6 weeks)
  • Chinese Language and Culture Program - session II (3 weeks)

2. Research: 

Students may select an NTU Plus Academy Faculty mentor from the Faculty List based on their academic goals and research interests.

3. Engineering:

These hands-on programs, hosted by the NTU BIM Center, focus on digital innovation, sustainable construction, and global collaboration.

  • Smart & Green BIM: Executive Insights in Taiwan
  • Digital & Green Transformation of the Built Environment

4. Natural Sciences:

·        Biodiversity, Agriculture, and Culture of Taiwan

  • Biotechnology Program

·        Developmental Biology

  • Field Ecology

·        Neuroscience LAB Program

 5. Social Sciences:

Explore the intersection of law and AI technology, including transparency and explainability, privacy, discrimination, international trade and investment, and LegalTech perspectives.

Items 1-2 are organized by the Office of International Affairs, while items 3-5 are administered by the respective NTU colleges or departments. Students can find the appropriate contact persons or program coordinators on the program website for detailed inquiries.

The application starts from February 2 to April 15, 2026. Students should submit their applications via the NTU application portal.
