Greetings from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in the Dominican Republic!
Our institution is interested in continuing activities with partners of the Erasmus+ program, cooperation networks and bilateral agreement. In this sense, we are pleased to invite your academic and non-academic staff to be part of the one International Staff Weeks that will be held this year in two occasions:
• International Staff Week (ISW): June 26 to 30, 2023. (Deadline application May 20)
• International Staff Week (ISW) within the Intercultural Week of Higher Education (SIES): November 13 to 17, 2023. (Deadline application October 11).
The ISW - SIES seeks to achieve the following opportunities:
• Knowledge about the Higher Education system in the Dominican Republic;
• Share experiences and motivate cooperation;
• Knowledge about Dominican Republic culture;
• Share experience about the internationalization in universities and how it is developed.
• Teaching specific topic for group students and/or meeting with homologue.
For more details, please refer to the provisional agenda attached. We are certain that through the exchanges conducted with our university staff, this experience will represent positive contributions to strength all participant institutions. At your home institution: contact your International Relations Office to find out about available spots and grants.
You need to apply for the training mobility placement with your home institution. You will need a) Mobility Agreement for Training signed by the home and host institution and yourself b) Application for Erasmus+ funding at your sending institution.
The programme is free for Erasmus+ and International Exchange partners (bilateral agreement). Participants are expected to cover their accommodation and travel expenses with the Erasmus+ grant provided by their home institution.
