We are happy to inform you that Ilia State University will be hosting a 4th in-person International Staff Week during 17-21 June 2024.

 

ISU international staff week is open to administrative staff involved in planning, administration and support of international activities and aims at the exchange of experience and best practices from participating universities. Wide range of activities and sessions are focused on various aspects of international cooperation, such as exchange cooperation within Erasmus +, blended mobility, capacity building projects, research partnerships and consortia, COIL, etc.

 

ISU Staff Week programme will focus on the following topics among others:

  • Internationalization during and after the COVID-19: impact and challenges
  • Student and staff mobility
  • What’s next? Sustainability of exchange collaboration
  • Internationalization of research and doctoral education
  • COIL - Collaborative Online International Learning

 

Additionally, the staff week program provides a unique opportunity to explore Georgian culture, history, cuisine and traditions.

 

The language of the staff week is English.

The International Staff Week will have a 150€ fee that includes:

  • Coffee-breaks
  • Lunches
  • Welcome Dinner
  • Cultural Program
  • Guided City Tour
  • Visit to Open Air Museum
  • Day Trip and visit to monasteries
  • Wine Tasting and lunch at the winery
  • Transportation to above mentioned social event venues
