BIT CSC-Graduate Programs (degree program) for Middle East Technical University

Founded in 1940, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) stands as one of China's national key universities, consistently recognized and included in the prestigious "211 Project", "985 Project", and "Double First-Class" initiatives for universities. BIT enjoys a prominent position in both domestic and global educational spheres, boasting widespread influence reflected in its accolades including a rank of 340 in the 2024 QS World University Rankings, a placement within the 101-150 range in the 2023 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), and a commendable 9th place in the Chinese Mainland according to the QS Global Graduate Employability Rankings 2022.

n  CSC-Graduate Programs (degree program)

BIT is offering 3 Chinese Government Scholarships (CSC) to faculty/students from your prestigious university to pursue Master’s or Ph.D. degree programs at BIT.

If the application is officially approved, the scholarship will be offered to the students during their stay at BIT for the period of the Master’s programs (2 years) and Ph.D. programs (4 years).

Ø  Overview of the CSC full scholarship

The CSC full scholarship covers the tuition fees, free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy, comprehensive medical insurance, and the monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for master’s students and CNY 3,500 for Ph.D. students). International airfare is not covered.

Ø  Programs details

We offer 32 master’s programs, including 27 English-taught programs, and 29 Ph.D. programs (all can be conducted in both Chinese and English). For details, please refer to Attachment I-Admission Book: Master’s and Ph.D. Program.
