International Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance ( AIIA )

International Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA)

Individual and Institutional Membership

  • The AIIA is the world’s largest and most inclusive organizational initiative, bringing together academics, researchers, investors, and research centers focused on the field of artificial intelligence.

  • Membership is open to both individuals and institutions, and there is no membership fee. The initiative serves as an excellent platform for meetings, sharing best practices, and guiding the direction of the field. The fact that its headquarters is located in Hong Kong suggests that this location could be a strategic choice, enabling China to influence AI developments and closely monitor advancements in the field.

  • Individual members come from nearly every corner of the world. A quick scan of its 3,000 members reveals two prominent individuals from Turkey.

  • There is no centralized, easily accessible list or search tool available for reviewing all 3,000 members. Each profile must be reviewed individually. However, an overwhelming majority of individual members appear to be affiliated with IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). Most members are of Chinese, Indian, Asian, or Southeast Asian origin.

  • Institutional members do not receive a publicly available list upon request. However, over 30 companies, primarily investors and firms operating in the industry, are visible on the alliance’s website as members. Some of these companies include Coolvalley, G-Gravity, Shoorah, Smartovate, Fieldstream, Roboserver, Grant & Graham, Trendig, and others.

  • Faculty members in the fields of Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Informatics Institutes could benefit significantly from the AIIA membership in terms of academic activities and projects. Additionally, considering its industry connections, METU Technopolis (METU Teknokent) is well-suited for membership due to its relevance to industrial engagement
