Goverment of Canada has a new initiative named as Global Affairs Canada-funded Study in Canada Scholarships competition. This program is part of GAC’s suite of Short-term Exchange Programs (SEP) that provide funding to international students to study or conduct research at Canadian post-secondary institutions for a duration of four to six months. METU students who are intersted in applying to Canadian institutions may be nominated to METU's partner in Canada if they have placed to a university by ICO. However, scholarship is not automatic and METU student candidate will be officially nominated by METU's Canadian partner university to the Study in Canada Scholarships. Since the scholarships are related to exchnage programs between METU and Canadian universities, applications of interested METU students will be taken during the same with Overseas Exchange Program outgoing applications (February 28-March 14).
