Please find the message coming from Philipps-Universität Marburg University about their International Staff Week:

We are delighted to invite you to the fourth International Staff Training Week at Technische Universität Dresden (Germany):

International Staff Training Week

Navigating the Challenges of Modern Universities

3rd – 7th June 2019

Today’s universities are active far beyond studies, teaching and research. A wide variety of stakeholders are involved in navigating the resulting challenges and working on interdisciplinary issues such as internationalisation, diversity management and networks, without losing sight of the overall objectives of the institution.

Our staff week provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and best practices in science management. We want to spark discussions and networking between colleagues from all over the world and TU Dresden in four Specialist Groups:

  • Developing and Managing Successful International Partnerships
  • Promoting International Research
  • Creating a University Culture of Responsibility
  • Working in Networks

Please refer to our website (https://www.tu-dresden.de/sprint/staff_week) for more detailed information about the programme, the registration process as well as your stay in Dresden. You can also find the most important information in the attached document. Application is possible until 28th February 2019. We would very much appreciate it if you could share this information with potentially interested colleagues.
