LEAD2 is an Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building project supported by the European Commission. It aims to enhance the capacity of higher education institutions related to governance and academic leadership in the context of innovation and internationalization. METU is an active partner of the project coordinated by Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The project has both European and Chinese university partners and the LEAD2 is coordinated by International Cooperations Office at METU.
One of the deliverables is a series of MOOCs targeting various levels of academic administrators (senior, mid-level and young leaders) at a university/higher education setting. The courses are free of charge and a certificate of completion is granted once the course requirements are met.
The courses (MOOCs) are particularly targeting and would be benefitial to top level university administrators; department chairs or vice-chairs; school directors or associate directors; deans or vice-deans; directors of research centers, office/unit directors. But they also benefitial for any faculty member or researcher who is interested in university goverance and academic leadership; or even anyone at the university community who needs leadership development.
