The Summer Course is hosted by the Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade de Ribeirão Preto / Universidade de São Paulo, or FEA-RP/USP. The university ranks prominently in both the Times Higher Education (THE) and QS World Rankings, being recognized as Latin America’s best university and placing among the global top 100 in the latter. Ribeirão Preto is a developed city with a high HDI index and is recognized for its prominent role in agribusiness and services, particularly in the health, education, tourism, and commerce sectors.

FEA-RP/USP is organizing the ninth edition of its intensive Summer Program focused on the Brazilian market. The course is designed to offer students a broad understanding of Brazil from multiple perspectives. It covers the Brazilian economy, the distinct characteristics of its accounting system, and the intricacies of doing business in Brazil. Furthermore, the course provides expert insights into the regional economy, emphasizing the key role of the agribusiness sector. The program also features company visits, sustainability and agribusiness best practices, and guided cultural experiences.

All courses are delivered in English, though Brazilian Portuguese lessons are also included to enhance students’ immersion and cultural understanding, further enriching their appreciation of Brazil’s culture and traditions. The program’s format encompasses traditional lectures, seminars, brief presentations, cultural excursions, and workshops. Upon the program’s conclusion, students are required to present either an applied or a research project pertinent to the course’s content.

Payment Policy

All payments for the FEARP USP Summer Program 2026 are processed by credit card, through a secure payment link provided by the program’s administrative partner.

Payment Process

• After completing the application form, eligible applicants will receive a personalised payment link by email.

• The payment link will include the total amount due and a deadline for payment.

• Registration will be considered confirmed only after payment is completed within the established deadline.

• Failure to complete the payment within the specified timeframe may result in the automatic cancellation of the application.

Accommodation 

Accommodation at the participant’s own expense.

We recommend Pousada Santa Rita (approximately a 10-minute walk from FEARP/USP).

Rates for the 21-night program vary from approximately €800 (single room) to €1200 (double room).

Cancellation and Refund Policy

75% will be refunded up to May 30, 2026 and 50% will be refunded up to June 30, 2026. After that date, no further refunds will be possible.*
