Myongji University's Global Leader Internship Program
The Office of International Affairs at Myongji University offers internships for International students interested in seeking valuable work experience in education, policy, and administration. Program participants have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the Office’s mission to make our International students' transition to life at Myongji University seamless. Selected students will help navigate procedures with the immigration bureau, manage timelines on visas, provide a comprehensive orientation to the university, and connect International students with necessary resources.
Internship is offered each semester (Spring and Fall).
This is an unpaid internship and is not eligible for academic credit. Students will receive the official certificate issued by the Dean of International Affairs upon completing the program. Required internship hours are 75 per semester, and students will be able to schedule their time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- 75 hours of office work (per semester)
- Create a social media marketing plan to promote Myongji University and
its international programs
- Develop engaging content for social media (posts, videos, etc.).
- Schedule, shoot, and edit promotional videos
- Assist International students with various services for immigration issues
to campus life.
- Translate brochures, PowerPoint presentations, and written documents about
Myongji University to students' own native language or English
Eligibility:
- MS Office skills needed (in particular Excel and PowerPoint.)
- Proficiency with the Adobe CC (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) required
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple
tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with a wide range of personalities
- Previous experience managing social media
- Currently enrolled in Myongji University (BA, MA, Ph.D.)
- Ability to communicate in English (no official test score required)
- Native speakers of one of the following languages: French, Spanish, and Japanese
